If you all were even AWARE of what was going on in YOUR school, you would have realised the green flyers everywhere. Or you would have noticed that someone (most likely the president of your school's English Language Society or Literature and Drama Club) has been announcing an event if you weren't talking to your friend during assembly so much. You probably wouldn't have noticed if you listened anyway, because you're probably already thinking, " What on earth is this Talent Competition? Ah, I don't care lar."
Before I continue, I must warn that this only applies to certain Ipoh schools ONLY.
So here I am, to stop your ignorant attitude. At least let me give you the info about this competition, then YOU decide to be ignorant of not. I hope you won't, and will come next year. =)
This competition is organised by LiDra ( Literature and Drama Club) of my school. It started last year and participation was limited to girls-schools only. My school is a girls-school anyway. Last year, a girl from my school won and due to the good response we got, we are now having it annually.
We had it again this year, and boys are now allowed! You can dance, sing or do anything you want. And darn, a bro-sis team from Wesley-MGS won this year. Last year's defending champ settled for 3rd Place. Oh well.
After all the trouble I went through to type this, please don't tell me you're still ignorant.
