What a yawn.

Basically I'm doing nothing at home besides surfing the net, watching Ouran and other animes from my CDs on the laptop. After all, college is about 5 days away and I think I'm done packing. I'm now searching for a good, free RPG for my Android phone. Any recommendations?

I've finished Destinia. Now having Zenonia 3 and Inotia 3 on my phone already. Any others? I couldn't download Legends of Arcana either. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

Do comment. Thanks loads!

For a new year!

It's been a long time since I posted and YES, I'M AWARE OF IT. Probably because I have basically nothing to blog about and the lack of time.

So how's everyone doing? Many of us would probably be doing either of the following options since it's after SPM :

  1. Working somewhere
  2. Sleeping, eating and basically acting like a pig around the house
  3. Heading off to college
  4. On the laptop/computer 24/7 gaming, Youtube-ing or Facebook-ing
  5. Travelling around the world in 80 days

Which option are you, SPM-leavers? I'm on option 2, 3, and 4. Not travelling this year due to time and financial constraints. Yes, I'm going to college =)

Good luck to everyone this year. Hope you have a blast for 2012!

Above is a photo of me in Vienna, June 2011. Yes, Mozart lives again! Note : it's for fun.

The holidays are here...

Yes, everyone. THE HOLS ARE HERE. For at least another 6 weeks, we're not going to school, but sit at home. Get a little rest, turn on the TV or get on the computer till your eyes pop out. And what am I going to do, you ask?

I'm going to go off to visit my sis overseas first. I actually have a chance to go to school there as well although it's only for 1 day. There, I'm going to visit Italy. I'm going to eat all the pasta I can stuff into this stomach of mine that seems to have expanded this holiday! YEE HAW!

After I get back to M'sia, I'm going off to KL for my cousin's wedding. Heck, I'm not even prepared for my sister's one! Oh well, I get to eat great food there, I guess....

Leaving for my trip on Thurs, early morn by bus to the airport. Sigh....I just don't want the hols to be over this time.

P/S : Hoy Yan, thanks for the email! Hope to see you soon, and REPLY MY EMAIL.

'Tis the season to be jolly...tralalalala lalalala.

Yes, it's the holidays! Well, our school's having one till Friday. Most schools are, anyway.

Firstly, I would like to say SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRY to all my bloggie readers for abandoning all of you for so long. I have reasons, trust me.

  • Had my grade 8 ABRSM theory exam (it's the last) two days ago at SMK Dato Megat Khas. My mum and I drove around Ipoh on Sunday to find the school and....we got lost at first, but found it eventually (took us approx. 1/2 hour).
  • Currently busy at school with the Prefect's Annual Farewell Party. Being the Venue Manager ain't easy, you know. Had trouble finding the perfect location. Won't mention anything else here, just in case any Form 5's visit my blog.
  • School holiday homework! Oh man, I tell you, my Add Maths homework and the rest of them is a lot. Almost done though.
Yes, after 11 years of being a pianist, I finally retire. True, it was almost all my life, but I think I had better move on. I do play the piano still, although not as often as the earlier years.

Oh, I just found out that Ookiku Furikabutte (Big Windup!) has a 2nd season. Currently watching the 2nd episode. For those who have been following my blog regularly (thanks a whole lot for doing that!), you would know that I'm a big fan of it. Yup, a 16-year-old girl loves this baseball show. I confess, I do like and play those games that people consider 'male-dominated' like baseball, basketball and football. Back to the show, this season's about the summer season game. The first season saw Nishiura beating Tosei, the defending champions, 5-4.

Heck, why am I telling y'all everything? Just watch the show! Or if you're too busy, you can google the show to find out more.

This holiday's going to be great. More Big Windup, homework and all that slack.

Review on Digeus System Optimizer 8.2.987‏

I was shocked when I received an email on Thursday asking me to try a product called Digeus System Optimizer 8.2.987 cause no one has ever asked me to do that before. Anyway, I tried on the product and found that it was seriously good. I mean, I know this is the first time I ever had this kind of program in my computer, but I know this can be really useful in time.

Firstly, the downloading of the software's pretty easy and fast. Usually, MOST of my programs take about 10 minutes or so but this one took about 5 minutes. Half the time gone!

Then, I tried the 'Clean Your Duplicates' section. Worked out okay, cause I've got plenty of duplicated documents. I managed to find out their existence only through this tool as I never bothered to search through THOUSANDS of files just to find a duplicate which could be saved somewhere else from the original.

The 'Clean Unnecessary Files' part is pretty cool. Through this one, I finally realised how many useless files I had that I never used for AGES. Got to clean them out though, and now the computer runs a lot smoother.

The Digeus Disk Space Analyser has to be the coolest thing I ever saw. After scanning my C drive, a pie chart appeared with loads of colours (and I mean, LOADS of colours). From here, you can see how much space is being taken by which program. For mine, let's give the 'Windows' example that was on the chart. Click that, and a different pie chart appears telling you what Windows program is taking on the most space. Windows Installer maybe? You get the drift here.

The rest of the tools were fine, but was kind of hard for me to understand (especially with my mentality, haha). Overall , I give it a thumbs up and rate it about 7 out of 10.

Just being blur.

Today has to be one of the worst days of my life. I feel like...URGH, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO FEEL RIGHT NOW. I got scolded and nagged at (like that doesn't happen to ME every day) about 10 times already for various reasons. This is probably because I'm really sleepy and blur until I have no idea what I'm doing anymore and why I'm doing it.

And I have an assignment to finish. Which song should I pick? The theme of the celebration night (won't say what it's for) is I'll Be There For You. I'm in charge of the songs and our leader says one of the songs must be our theme title. I've shortlisted down to either Solid Harmonie or The Moffatts. Do me a favour while you're here, won't ya? Help me pick, by leaving a comment at the end of the post.

That's the one by Solid Harmonie. I don't like the dance steps, but I like that main singer's voice. After all , that's the main criteria we're looking for, mates! Next up?

The one by The Moffatts ain't that good, but I think Scott is cute. He's the vocalist. Do you know that they're all related? But I'm not here to inform you about them, goggle them yourself. They have a lot of SERIOUSLY GOOD songs. Listen to them and you'll find out.

I finally got The 39 Clues, Book 6, 7 and 8. Have you tried them out? Buy the first book and read it, I'm pretty sure you'll get addicted. After all, who doesn't like traveling the world? And you don't need to do it, Amy and Dan will. I can't believe they're Madrigals! Oh heck, I just let out a secret that took 7 books to find out. I hope you've collected all the cards!

Exams are on the 17/8-20/8. Good luck to everyone!

P/S : To Hoy Yan, I'm really sorry about the 'thing'. Forgive me, my friend.

My Sweet Sixteen =)

No pics, but got a whole long story to reveal. Why this birthday is a lot more special than the last ones, what on earth I did to celebrate it and a lot more. =)

Why My Sweet Sixteen is Superbly Special This Year
  1. My birthday this year was celebrated at my parents' hometown, Taiping. Coincidentally, I had a dental appointment (yes, one on my birthday) which was on a Saturday, today. So, I could go back and like, have a party with them. The usual cake was there (though I can't eat it due to lactose-intolerance), obviously.
  2. Money money money, must be funny, in a rich man's world. In my case, a woman's. I received like, a whole lot of money from angpau from my aunts and uncles. Wahey!
  3. Got to meet my cousin's girlfriend. She's an ex-MGS girl, OH GOD. For those who don't know, MGS (Methodist Girls' School a.k.a. Monkey Girls School) is one of SMC's main rival schools back from goodness knows when. It's the same in Taiping too. Convent Taiping versus Treacher Methodist Girl's School. Screw it, we're talking about Ipoh people! Anyway, it's not like I totally hate EVERY single MGS girl. Hoy Yan is a good friend, and she's from MGS. But this lady (she's 29 years old) has taught in SMC (gasp!) before temporarily after her Form 6 and she knows my school pretty well. She's okay, but I can't seem to get over the fact that she was from MGS.
  4. Camwhoring, everywhere! Stealing my cousin's handphone (mine doesn't have a cam) to take photos of myself and her is pretty fun. Can't post the photos up here, she has YET to email them to me.
  5. Loads of presents and wishes! The last time I counted, I had 75 wishes on my Facebook wall, one on Facebook mail. Thanks, everyone. Before the Taekwondo meeting today, my Ranger friends (Siow Jean, Mel, Charmaine, etc.) were like screaming "Happy Birthday!" so loudly till all my Taekwondo juniors started wishing me too. Then Siow Jean and Mel ran like mad to hug me. Aiyo! Siow Jean gave me a present as well : A SHIRT. If you're reading this, Siow Jean, the shirt does fit, but it OVERFITTED ME. LOL. Ker Chyi and Dumbo gave me an early present (thanks) where both were superb too. It's like Christmas, but in July. Haha.
  6. Trying hard to squeeze out a present from my parents. My sis already sent me a card (thanks again : how many times have I said thank you already?). I requested for a story book (FANG!) and I hope they'll think about it. My mum thinks her present is the cake (no arguments there) and my dad says his present is taking me to the optical shop to repair one of my spectacles lenses. The left one got chipped off at the corner recently. It cost about RM43. Convert into your respective currencies using a converter, if you're not from Malaysia.
  7. This is something sad. My iPod, unable to be repaired, has been returned into my hands. Considered dead, it lies down and sighs as it takes its last breath in my arms. Yes, it cannot be repaired anywhere in Malaysia (it's an iPod mini, 1st generation, first manufactured in 2005) and so, I'm taking it with me when I go to Europe at the end of the year. I'll survive without music till then, I'll make it. If it can't be repaired, I MAY be getting an iPod Touch. Sure, it may be new, but I still have a sentimental feeling toward the old one. Sigh.
  8. I finally realise how serious my cousin is into obtaining a animation or graphic designing course. Or at least, something to do with drawing.
  9. I'M SIXTEEN!
  10. I'M SIXTEEN!
  11. I'M SIXTEEN!

See, it IS a long story. Attention : I'm one of the Acting 4 Heads next week. We're ready, I just hope luck is on our side and everything will go fine. Time to gear into action and act like one of the 4 Heads ( for those who have forgotten what this is, refer to the post titled 'Acting 4 Heads Begin!'). To Shari, Ker Chyi and Jichin (my partners), I hope we do well.
